Construction
features

The design was carried out using BIM technology: before the commencement of construction, a 3D model was developed not only for buildings and structures, but also for the entire complex of engineering equipment. Adaptation of technological processes to Russian standards, coordination of metric and inch dimensions of technological foreign equipment, and commissioning works were carried out by joint efforts of PSO-13 engineers and foreign experts.

Construction was carried out in an area with weak and waterlogged soils.  Sand, gravel and geosynthetic materials were used for dewatering and stabilization, with multi-layer foundations over 1.2 m thick. The bearing and half-timbered columns have been mounted on composite pile foundations up to 16 m deep.

The construction and installation works were carried out in accordance with European health and safety requirements, which exceed Russian standards significantly. Not a single worker was injured during the entire construction period.
