PSO-13 has won the tender for the construction of the main building of a new seamless pipe plant for Zagorsk Pipe Plant

Zagorsk Pipe Plant announced its construction plans in 2021 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, where an agreement was signed between Denis Safin, CEO of ZTZ, and Andrei Vorobyov, governor of the Moscow Region, to build a new seamless pipe plant.

Russia's largest general contracting companies were invited to participate in the construction tender. The winner was the company PSO-13.

According to the contract, by the end of this year, PSO-13 13 will construct the main manufacturing building with the attached administration and utility building. The building's dimensions are 102 m x 276 m. The total built-up area will exceed 25,000 m². The plant will be located near the existing ZTZ plant in Sergiev Posad, near Moscow.

From 400,000 to 450,000 tons of tubing, including tubing pipes, drill pipes, and casing, will be produced at the plant annually. Around 1,000 jobs will be created at the new plant.

Work has already begun: a construction camp has been arranged, the area is being levelled, and building materials are being delivered.

Zagorsk Pipe Plant is the most modern enterprise in Russia that produces large diameter welded pipes for oil and gas pipelines. Located in the Sergiev Posad district of the Moscow region, it is one of Russia's five plants for the production of large diameter pipes. Production capacity is 750,000 tonnes of large-diameter pipes a year. Product quality meets stringent API 5L standard and is supplied to leading Russian and international companies. The main consumers of the products are companies in the oil and gas sector.
